Successfull witnessed testing of DirectDrive motor!ĭAC Electric successfully tested the large DirectDrive (high-pole) pump motor for Pumping Station Grootslag in Andijk, The Netherlands. The motor shall be installed on a TSHD for the direct drive of the submersible dredge pump and has an astonishing torque of 43.770 Nm!Ĭurrently, the motor is on its way to Damen Shipyards in The Netherlands, fully naked without any coating. Where all static parts (all Duplex) are manufactured in Twente, The Netherlands and the active parts and assembly has been performed by the professionals in Brno, Czech Republic. This project is a perfect example of unique synergy of engineering excellence.
